| Why did you create the Forum 4 Women? |
| I created Forum 4 Women, because mostly all of the forums that existed didn't fit my needs. Mostly all of the forums I found were for a certain type of women. They were for mothers only or professional women only. The forums I found for all women were covered in advertising, or didn't allow any personality in signatures.
I think women deserve more. I think women deserve a forum that will freely support their organizations and causes. Women deserve support for their business, their families, their goals and so on. Women deserve to be able to confide in others without the worry of being scrutinized for their feelings. Women deserve to be able to give their opinions without being personally attacked. Women deserve friendships without motives. I can't give women everything they deserve, but at least I can offer this forum as a start. Thank you, Christi |
| What are the rules? |
| The Forum 4 Women is a supportive board. That means that there is no bickering or fighting allowed on the board. All topics don't have to be positive, but interaction with other members must be. If there is an issue, please let me know. Confrontations are not permitted on the boards.
In addition, there is to be no promotion of hate or discrimination. Even though this forum is about Women's issues, mean spirited discussions about men are not permitted. This forum is for women only, but it is not against men. Obscene or violent language is not permitted on these boards. Adult content is also not permitted as these pages may be viewed by minors. SPAM is not permitted. There are sections of the forum designated for stores and such. Offers cannot contain hidden fees, for example, texting for coupons as those have hidden phone charges. ALL women are accepted here. I am open to suggestions and willing to accommodate requests. Groups are permitted even if controversial. Any post against a group or member will be removed. I understand the right to free speech. You have a right to post it, and I have a right to remove it. The goal is for this forum to be supportive of EVERY woman. If you would like to start a support group, please contact me. Support groups may be open, private (visible only to registered viewers) or by invitation only. If the group is by invitation only, it will not be visible from the Forum 4 Women home page. Signatures are a great way to send a message without spamming the forums. However, advertising signatures should not be wider than the post box and must remain 2 inches or less. HTML is not permitted in the signature as it can disrupt pages and so on. BB code is allowed. If you are not familiar with BB code, fell free to ask. The buttons at the top of the post are helpful as well. Images, such as banners, are allowed in signatures. Advertising images cannot be more than 125 pixels high or animated. Animated images are NOT allowed in signatures unless prior approval is given. A small amount of animation is allowed in non-advertising avatars, such as glitter. Feel free to ask if you have a question about an image or banner. I'm willing to make exceptions depending on the level of forum participation. For example, if you have an image that is a bit large or has animations and you participate in the forums on a regular basis, the image might be allowed. Get-rich-quick advertisements or any type of online scheme not safe for members is not permitted in signatures. We are here to help women, not take advantage of them! I really feel that each member's signature is their part of the forum as is their profile. As long as the rules above are followed, be as creative as you'd like. |
| Will you ever start charging for membership? |
| Absolutely not! That is a promise that I am making. No matter how popular this forum gets, there will never be a charge to be a member and post in this forum. My goal is for this forum to become a resource for all women. It will always be a free resource. |

| The Forum 4 Women and administrators do not sell ANY information to third parties. The information you provide is used for forum identification only.
Please note that any information you included in your profile can be seen by other members and guests. If you choose not to allow others to see that information, you must change the privacy settings on your profile. Forum 4 Women also recommends that you do not share private and personal information with other members. Even though we do not share any information, we cannot guarantee that other members won't share your information. Forum 4 Women does not endorse or support any members or their businesses.
